Reading Rainbow 1983

Reading Rainbow was an American children's television series that aired on PBS from June 6, 1983, until November 10, 2006, that encouraged reading by children. The public television series garnered over 200 broadcast awards, including a Peabody Award and 26 Emmy Awards, 11 of which were in the "Outstanding Children's Series" category. The series was created under the leadership of Cecily Truett Lancit and Larry Lancit, at Lancit Media Productions in New York. The concept of a reading series for children originated with Twila Liggett, Ph.D., and Paul Schupbach, of the Great Plains National Instructional Television Library at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln; and Tony Buttino, of WNED-TV Buffalo, New York. The original team included Lynne Brenner Ganek, Ellen Schecter, and host LeVar Burton. Each episode centered on a theme from a book, or other children's literature, which was explored through a number of segments or stories. The show also recommended books for kids to look for when they went to the library. It is the third-longest running children's series in PBS history, after Mister Rogers' Neighborhood and Sesame Street. It was also one of the first PBS shows to be broadcast in stereo.

Grey Rainbow 2016

Grey Rainbow tells the love story of Nuer & Porsche. Nuer is the son of the owner of an elephant camp while Porsche is a law student. In university, they were dormitory roommates and close friends, each fighting against the feelings that one has for the other.

Rio: Rainbow Gate! 2011

Rio: Rainbow Gate! is an anime series produced by Xebec under the direction of Takao Kato. Based on Tecmo's Rio Series of pachinko games, the series revolves around titular character Rio Rollins, a popular casino dealer working at the Howard Resort, and the thirteen cards called Gates which are used to determine the world's most skilled dealer. The anime aired on Tokyo MX and related channels between January 4, 2011 and March 29, 2011.

Rainbow Brite 1984

Rainbow Brite is a media franchise by Hallmark Cards, introduced in 1983. The animated television series of the same name was started in 1984. Rainbow Brite made her animated debut in a syndicated prime-time special, "Peril in the Pits", first aired on June 27, 1984. Two more two-part specials were subsequently made, "The Mighty Monstromurk Menace" and "The Beginning of Rainbowland". In April 1986, Rainbow Brite became a regular series, as part of DIC's weekly syndicated Kideo TV block; eight new episodes were made for this run. Rainbow Brite remained part of the Kideo TV lineup until May 1987.

Golden Rainbow 2013

Rainbow City 1967

Rainbow City is a British television series made by the BBC and shown in 1967. The series is notable for being the first British TV series to feature a black actor, Errol John, playing the lead character. John starred as John Steele, a black solicitor and the series dealt with his personal and professional problems living and working in the multi-ethnic community of Birmingham. Also highly significant was the fact that Steele's marriage was inter-racial. Steele's white wife Mary was played by Gemma Jones, who would go on to star in the BBC's 1970s period drama The Duchess of Duke Street.

Rainbow Sweetheart is a TV series directed by LinHeLong, a director in Taiwan; produced by ChaiZhiPing; starring by Jimmy Lin and YingCaier.

Blue Rainbow

Blue Rainbow was a Canadian Children's television series created and hosted by Lutia Lausane who was always dressed in a pink dress and told stories while playing her harp. Michael Kennard and John Turner played the clowns Dirk and Drock for three seasons. The series was broadcast on CBC in the 1980s until it was sold in 1989 to CanWest Global System who continued broadcasting it. The show ran for more than eighteen years in total.
